Fiction literature has faced many ups and downs after the Islamic Revolution. The important point in this area is to pay attention to the credibility of the characters the writers have created. Characteristics, events, behavioral changes, or fundamental character changes must be believable, and the slogans uttered during conversations. At the same time, a firm should not convey a sense of rhetoric to the modern reader or the author’s purpose in writing the story. To disclose, such an issue will cause the general readers to distance themselves and assign stories in this field to a specific group. In this study, we use the descriptive-analytical method to clarify whether the characters with all the story’s actions, behaviors, and events are portrayed idealistically. These stories are opposed to realism. Does the author, with his narrative skills, in addition to expressing the ideals during the characterization, advance the narrative process well and with tension? Examining the selected stories, one can conclude that some writers have written stories intending to show their ideals. Not allowing each character to express themselves and try to show their ideals has made the characters in the story unbelievable. Of course, some writers have not entered this field to show their ideals. Therefore, while portraying their fictional characters during the revolution or the imposed war of Iraq against Iran, they have also presented the ideals and ideas of the people, and according to the analysis of this research, they have advanced the process of fiction and characterization more successfully.
